Saying farewell is probably the toughest part, no matter if it's about relationship of any kind, things that you own and sometimes it's about saying farewell to an old design of yours, neither is any fun but it's a step in evolution, sometimes you just have to get rid of old designs no matter how much you like them or how big they grow or how fast they are forgotten about.
So looking forward to this new website of Tigerstorm, a few things I would like to mention about the old website. First of all it was a good way for me to learn about how Macromedia Flash worked and develop a form of skill in that application and try to acheive something new, something new to learn, it hasn' been easy and I'm still not any superbuddy with Actionscript but it has gone along, thanks to help from many guys on the net..
The old design has been loved by so many that I lost count on how many that has given me good critique on it, and that's make it's difficult to say goodbye to it, I'm just hoping everyone will like my new website.
So why did I switch design and what's the benefits?
First of all, I was pretty tired of the old design and it was really hard to update and some didn't like to wait for the whole website to load, and I'm always up for new adventures.
The new adventure is called CSS and Drupal and it's the code and machine behind this new site that's making it easy to read, update even if I'm not at my computer, in fact I can be in any computer in the world updating or writing a new blog post on the site, I'll just need a computer and a internet connection.
My friend Ivan over at Creativebits where I often hang during my freetime on the net has showed me the light with Drupal and I'm really impressed by the thing it can do and how much it helps me as I'm pretty lazy on updating :)
Drupal is the machine that's just keeps working behind the scenes of the site.. You can read more about here: http://www.drupal.org
I've written too much already, so it's time for me to get a cold beverage and just relax and keep updating this site, and if you like it? Feel free to send me your comment about it!
Best regards
Martin
